Awesome, that's all I can say!
Today Bob Gray came out and preached while pastor was away with Mrs. Julie. First our sunday school lesson was about being grateful and not expecting things that aren't yours to begin with. Our lesson was about the prodical son. Then our lesson from Bob Gray was awesome, basically how you should be grateful for all the little things. Then I had jackie over for lunch and we went back to choir at 5 p.m. After choir Bob Gray preached again... this time the sermon was on the judgement seat of Christ. He has got to be my #1 favorite preacher!!!Every year in Texas since I have been younger till now, I still remember going on the soulwinning trip with Bob Gray and I always thought to myself wow, what a humble man, bc he went soulwinning with us. I always admired their church, and I am so greatful for their church, and the ministries. There is something very important I have realized... I miss my Pastor and his wife :] I've never really realized how much they have done until they left, and I am definitely more grateful than ever now. I also have an amazing youth Pastor and his wife. They are amazing, and I see how bad Jeremy wants us to just make it in life and how bad he longs for us to know God, and to have our own personal relationship with him, and that is exactly what I want, and no one is gonna stop me.
Thanks again.

Today was a new day
So today suprisingly turned out to be a good day. As it says in the Bible, we do not weep like the world does. It was so unusual, but the Pastor that did my grandpa's service today went to the book of John where it talks about lazarus being dead and everything, and just last night, I was reading my Bible for the ichallenge thing, and I just read about lazarus last night for the ichallenge program. Another unusual thing, was that, andrew was looking for his black and white tie all Wednesday morning and gave up looking for it, and when we arrived at the funeral place Grandpa was wearing Andrew's tie. It was almost like God was trying to be funny, almost like Grandpa wanted the tie more than Andrew did, just so he could take a piece of his 1st boy grandchild with him :] Thank you to all the people who came out to support our family, and all the prayers as well.
Sincerely,
Ashley Parker and Grandpa Parker

Saying goodbye to the best Grandpa
This morning my grandpa sadly passed away. He had fallen last night out of his bed and about 3 weeks ago was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and liver cancer and was stage 4. He had just started his first chemotherapy on this past tuesday. This morning we say goodbye to him until we get to heaven. He was loved more than you could even imagine. He was always there for all of us kids.... never letting us go without food or an above average christmas. He was the best and will be missed.
